Why is the Old Testament God so bad ? 25 min. read web pages extracts

First, & most relevant, what must be kept firmly in mind is that many theologians, all Christian priests & most Sunday school teachers believe, & teach, that Jesus & God are one & the same person.
The truth is that ...God & Lord are two different entities.
Some of the confusion came about because the word god, in Hebrew is Elohim.
Elohim had two meanings.
When singular, & in a heavenly context, it refers to the one Supreme Creator God - creator of ALL things.
When plural & in an earthly context it refers to anyone that holds a position of authority such as a king, chief, lord, ruler, judge etc.
Additional confusion arose when the capitulation of words was introduced within the Bible around the sixteenth century.
The capitalization gave the Christian transcribers, & or those authorizing the additions, the opportunity to give the impression that Jesus was God of creation by, in some texts, writing God instead of Lord or LORD.
This occurring in the New Testament.
Most refer to John 10 verse 30 as proof Jesus is God when Jesus said...
"I and the father are one."
However His disciples did not think that because of Jesus' prayer to God in John 17 verse 21 that all of them may be one with Father...
"Just as you are in me and I am in you.
May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me"
This is stating a unity of purpose, not that they are all just the one entity.
In the early days of Christianity, it was said, the church's bishops were divided with some holding to Arius in the belief that Jesus was created by God & as such must be subordinate to God.
The others believing that Jesus & God are just one entity.
The Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D, was the first council of the Christian Church that was convened by Emperor Constantine to effectively resolve the issue.
The problem was their collection of religious works described more that one God.
As they were preaching monotheism, one divine God, they could not also proclaim Jesus as being divine.
The First Council of Nicaea was said to have resolved the theological dispute by declaring that Jesus was...
…"God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father".
In order to then justify their claim they declared that Jesus, God & The Holy Spirit were all one entity that they named a trinity.
Making Jesus seem like the one & only God.
The council chose to ignore, not just the many verses in the Bible that clearly shows that Jesus was made by God. also see.
They also disregard much of what Jesus said about His relationship with the Father.
Jesus said... He was not God.
"The Father is greater than I."
This was also proven to be the truth at the trial of Jesus where He was accused of blasphemy.
After Pontius Pilate proclaimed Jesus was not guilty of the charges the crowd of accusers became so angry Pilate famously said...
"I wash my hands of these charges."

The Nicene Creed only added to the confusion.
Even Jesus, in Exodus 6 verse 3, spoke of the confusion Abraham, Isaac & Jacob must have experienced when Jesus proclaimed...
..."I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as 'God Almighty', but by my name the LORD I did not make myself fully known to them".
LORD here refers to Jesus when in heaven He is God of Earth especially for, in those early days, the earthly tribe of the Israelites.
But, as He explained...
He is NOT 'God Almighty'.
Most theologians try to explain this by saying... People do not understand what He was saying.
They then went into an explanation, that they dreamt up, to fit into their false narrative.
John 5 verse 37... "You have never heard His voice or seen His form".

It means that people in earth can not understand or see God because He resides in a different dimension for which Jesus can enter, see & understand what God is saying.
Hebrews 1 verse 1... "Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son"
"No one comes to the father except through me".
This tells us Jesus communicates with God... as such - Jesus is NOT God.
After God created the earth He could no longer be involved with the grossness of earth being vexatious to His persona.
As such He now resides in the highest of high.
Isaiah 14 verse 14 & Psalm 91 verse 1.
His environment has to be pristine.
This is further explained herein. also see.
Jesus was/is the personification of The Supreme Creator God. A protagonist.
Like father like son but not exactly the same.
God first creates in the spiritual realm then Jesus, with the authority of God, converts that for which is in the spiritual into becoming physical.
Jesus became God of the physical world.
This explains why there are two descriptions of creations mentioned in Genesis.
The earth, for which God first made in the spiritual, He later materialized the earth by making it solid.
The action of making the spiritual solid paved the way for Jesus to be able to continue His father's work.
"In the beginning the earth was formless and empty".
There was an earth but it was formless & empty means existing in the spiritual/astral realm yet to be materialized.
Then God gathered to Himself the components that He needed to make the earth, that He previously visualized, take on a solid form.
Those components, in all likelihood, were subatomic particles/neutrinos, that God instilled with a higher form of intelligence that then became known as - The Word of Life - also called...
...The Soul Force - The Breath of Life - The Akashic Record & in all probability it also contains...
During, just before or just after, God was making the earth solid He also enabled the highest of the angels (Jesus) to take over the physical manifestation of things on & around the earth by giving Jesus The Word of Life - The Soul Force, referred to as Jesus' inheritance.
What was once a part of God then became a part of Jesus.
Thus making Jesus higher than the other angels.
Jesus stabilized the earth & the universe.
He never said He made the earth.
The highest of the Cherub angels was enlisted to help in converting the spiritual into the physical on & around the earth.
Jesus gave the highest Cherub his portion of the soul & his name became Lucifer.
Both with a soul thus enabling them to incarnate within earth.
These two angels were known as the 'two morning stars'.
Jesus said... "I am the light of the world."
Jesus called Himself the bright morning star.
Lucifer was noted as the other morning star. The bringer of light before he fell from grace.
Together, they along with all the other angels, watched God create.

When God announced that the creation of humans was their finest of all creations He commanded the angels to honor & serve them.
Lucifer protested, arguing that he was superior to them, because he was the carrier of the light & as such they should worship him.
This resulted in struggle & strife in heaven.

Lucifer was cast out of heaven along with all his followers.
Jesus, as LORD God of earth, gave His father's created spirits / souls - the ability to incarnate in order to bring about a new heaven here on earth.
However as Satan & his followers came to earth with vengeance in their hearts they began to corrupt everything that had previously been created resulting in Jesus having to modify humans with a higher soul as those previous humans had souls that were corrupt.
After causing Adam's immaculate conception Jesus had to isolate him in a protected hidden garden away from others that would influence him.
He made Eve, like Adam, to be free of sexual desire to enable humanity to evolve without sexual desire as desire leads to all sin.
Adam & Eve were about to be taught how reproduction could take place with out the use of sex when Satan again caused God's plan to be corrupted.
Jesus, not God, was so angry He decided to eliminate everything that had become corrupt & help make worse a flood that was about to happen as the ice cap in the northern hemisphere was melting.
Genesis 7 verse 11...
...All the springs of... 'the great deep'... burst forth.

As only Noah & his family were see as righteous Jesus - God of earth - warned him of the flood & told him to build a large boat to save not only Noah & his family from drowning but many animals that lived in & around that area.
After the flood Jesus was so upset he swore never again to kill humans.
Remember Jesus was not God however He was learning to be God of Earth & as such, to a certain extent, He had to react in a way that His chosen people expected a God to act.
In those early days commanding people to "turn the other cheek" & "love your enemy" would have just fallen on deaf ears.
Let's review some of the terrible things the so called one & only true God was said to have done.
Note... because of their blatant lie, that Jesus & God are one entity, some theologians now refer to God of the Old Testament as "the old God".
This is in direct conflict with the truth that...
...God was perfect from the beginning. He did not change.
Jesus, LORD God of Earth, while in heaven also did not change.
Kings 2 verse 23... Elisha called on The Lord to curse some boys because they made fun of his baldness. Then, according to theologians, God sent two female bears that ripped the boys to pieces.
Many Christian theologians go to great lengths in trying to justify God's action with none of them considering that it could have been the devil reacting to Elisha’s call for a curse.
Not only does the action of the bears discredit God, for which would have pleased Satan in sowing deceit, it discredits Elisha as he was seen as a God loving man.
Nor indeed did they consider it could have been just a coincidence.
The two mother bears heard the noise the boys were making & saw them as a threat to their young cubs.
The Lord killed many people for complaining about the time taken to reach the promises land.
However there was a plague & a fire for which Abraham could have said God sent just to avoid a rebellion against him.
Leviticus 21 verse 17...No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the Lord made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
A blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous, or a man that is broken footed, or broken handed, or crookback, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his bones broken.
Would The Supreme God discriminate against the afflicted & ugly when in Galatians 3 verse 28...
..."There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus ?
Genesis 38 verse 1…Judah got a wife for Er, his firstborn, and her name was Tamar. But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the Lord’s sight; so the Lord put him to death.
(what happened to free will ?) No reason given other than he was wicked.
Then Judah said to Onan, “Sleep with your brother’s wife and fulfil your duty to her as a brother-in-law to raise up offspring for your brother.”
But Onan knew that the child would not be his; so whenever he slept with his brother’s wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from providing offspring for his brother. What he did was wicked in the Lord’s sight; so the Lord put him to death also.
What needs to be noted is that in most all of those texts the word Lord is mentioned not God ! It does not even say Lord God.
The word God is used once when Abraham was said to be talking to God about Sodom & Gomorrah but how come Abraham had to tell the so called Supreme all Knowing God that Lot & his wife were righteous ?
Job 1 verse 9... And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil ?
9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought ?
If Jesus was God he would have said... He feareth 'me'.
Likewise if Jesus was God Satan would have said... Doth Job not fear 'you' for nought ?
In Exodus 12... we see even though the then so called true God had no power to stop Pharaoh killing babies he could not even offer...
"his people" protection against being enslaved in the first place !
All those evil acts attributed to God was not God because God is LOVE.
As Jesus, in those days, was learning to be a God of earth He, like us, made mistakes.
As He regretted His mistakes, like us, God forgave Him.
It was not God that was violent it was Jesus learning to become a Lord God of Earth.
Like us we mostly learn from our mistakes.
Thank YOU
