Valley of Hinnom

Not for profit easy to read without advertising
The word hell was never used by Jesus. He used the word 'Gehenna'.

Gehenna in The Greek New Testament was formed from the word Ge Hinnom meaning...

..."Valley of Hinnom"

The valley, situated south west of Jerusalem, was once used to sacrifice children to the Ammonite god Moloch but later became a garbage dump also used to burn criminal's dead bodies.

A fire was burning day and night. The smell was said be sickening.

Jesus used this place as a metaphor for people to understand the feeling an unrepentant soul would experience after death.

Hence hell, for mankind, is a feeling not a place for people to be punished.

Hell was / is for fallen angels locked in chains under the ocean where no light can reach.

"Locked in chains" a metaphor for a place they are unable to move away from.

Hell, or a place likened to hell, was only for fallen angels as described in 2 Peter 2 verse 4...

"For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept there until the judgment".

If a soul is remorseful of sin or had no knowledge the actions or thoughts were sinful & there were no feelings of guilt the soul is returned to the level from where it came.

If not remorseful but aware the actions & thoughts were wrong the soul is then compelled to go to a lower level from where it came.

The experience felt because of the demotion was compared by Jesus as to be like going into the ...
...Gehenna Valley.

The soul may also be further traumatized with the understanding it is about to be reborn back into an earthly body.

The word 'Hell' comes from the Anglo - Saxon word hellia.

Helle came from the Old English & German word, hel, helle around the year 725 AD.

The King James Bible used the Jewish word Gehenna to describe the final destination of the wicked.

The idea that mankind would be sent to hell was introduced by church leaders to scare people into making them go to church for forgiveness.

The word hell is not in the Greek Bible instead the Greek word Hades or the Hebrew word Gehinnom was mostly used.

Gehenna was said to be a destination of the wicked.

Gehinnom Sheol / Hades also became designated as the abode of the dead.

The King James Bible also used the Anglo - Saxon word hell.

The Greek translated the word hell as Gehenna.

Gehenna is used twelve times in the New Testament with Jesus quoting it eleven times.

Jeremiah 7:31-
They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to burn their sons and daughters in the fire—something I did not command, nor did it enter my mind.

32 So beware, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when people will no longer call it Topheth or the Valley of Ben Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter, for they will bury the dead in Topheth until there is no more room.

As far as sin is concerned the Bottom Line is :
It doesn't matter if you are heterosexual LGBTIQA or if you indulge in masturbation as far as the deity is concerned all sexual activity is just like any other sin.

However people will not be punished for sin.

The following metaphor explains why...

...A person is driving a car down the road when they run into a crowd of people injuring and killing many.

The judge finds the driver not guilty when the defense lawyer presents evidence the brakes were faulty.
All humans have a faulty psyche, that usually, adversely, affects the soul.
This faulty contamination gets impregnated within our DNA when conception comes about via sexual intercourse.

The adulteration was instigated because of the deception perpetrated by Satan.

Jesus became our defense lawyer.

The anointed one, our Saviour, who takes away all manner of sins.

Even when sinners do not regret their sins God may still forgive.

With most others the correction is hoped to come about after their souls gravitate back to a life on the same or a lower level as was their last incarnation or reincarnation.
Jesus describes how the soul feels because of its return or demotion to earth as being like going into the valley of Hinnom.

Hell is a place for fallen angels & not for those with The Lord God of Earth's given soul.
Hell, for the human body & soul, is a state of mind.

Birth, for most is a traumatic experience.
Whereas dying, for most, is tranquil

After the end of this era, on judgement day, lost souls will receive a cleansing.

Baptism is an earthly symbolic representation of the heavenly cleansing.

It is only by the grace of God everything, including evolution, exists.
Evolution was integrated within creation all as a part of His Divine plan.
